Manny is the Absolute Best! Having never owned a BMW prior to my visit, I took my recently acquired 1989 E30 Convertible (from a previous owner who failed in fulfilling routine maintenance over the years) to Mota Autohaus for diagnostics and was immediately met with honesty and integrity upon speaking with Manuel over-the-phone and in-person. He gave me an accurate turnaround time and told me when I could expect to hear an update from him. A short time later , Manny gave me a diagnosis of everything needed to get my E30 mechanically proper! I will not hesitate to recommend Mota Autohaus to anyone needing to get their BMW serviced in Birmingham!

Simply the best in Birmingham. If you have a BMW in need of service, this is the place. Manny has super magical special powers including turning dirty oil clean just by looking at it. I’ve personally witnessed him raise E30s from the dead.

Manuel Mota just saved me $5,000! I had my car (a 2008 3 series with 63,000 miles on it) towed to the service department at BMW of Birmingham after it stalled in the middle of an intersection. After they charged me $190 for a diagnostic to tell me that the engine had “locked up” ( it would have costed another thousand bucks to know why) and that I needed a new engine ($18,000 for a new one, $6,000 for a used), I had the car towed to Mota Autohaus to get a second opinion. Manuel quickly assessed that I simply needed a new alternator. He promptly fixed it the day the alternator arrived in his shop and the car is running like new. The cost, $700.00 (he also had to replace all the oil the dealership’s service department had drained). Best, most competent, professional service I have encountered in a long time!
