Manuel Mota just saved me $5,000! I had my car (a 2008 3 series with 63,000 miles on it) towed to the service department at BMW of Birmingham after it stalled in the middle of an intersection. After they charged me $190 for a diagnostic to tell me that the engine had “locked up” ( it would have costed another thousand bucks to know why) and that I needed a new engine ($18,000 for a new one, $6,000 for a used), I had the car towed to Mota Autohaus to get a second opinion. Manuel quickly assessed that I simply needed a new alternator. He promptly fixed it the day the alternator arrived in his shop and the car is running like new. The cost, $700.00 (he also had to replace all the oil the dealership’s service department had drained). Best, most competent, professional service I have encountered in a long time!

I have gone to Manny twice now for a 3 series “project” car. He has taken care of every issue (and helped me find other issues we need to service) without failure. I strongly suggest taking your BMW to him because his diagnosis policy alone saves me thousands by nailing EXACTLY what needs to be worked on rather than assuming everything needs to be fixed. He was able to work with me regarding what needed service immediately and what was upcoming in my intervals to allow me time to put back for bigger services coming up. Thankful as heck this man is here to save the day when coolant lines blow astray. Thank you Manny for being Birminghams best BMW service spot. ????️????

I’ve never been made to feel more comfortable at an auto shop. I’m a woman who deals with car troubles from time to time, not always knowing if I’m being taken for more than I *need* to have done. At Mota Autohaus, Manny took the time to explain to me what was happening and what needs to be done to resolve the issue. He definitely knows his stuff! Will be using them exclusively going forward!
